Perpetual Glee
I was walking down that long hallway with all the lockers before class arm in arm with one of the girls, I can't remember which. When I went into class, Brianna Simmons, my new friend, asked me to a party later on that night. Later on, I got all ready and went to Keith Hatch's house. Brianna greeted me at the door, and I introduced her to someone as my new friend, and they thought I meant girlfriend. They almost insulted her hair before I interrupted them and told them I thought it looked cool. I went into one of the bedrooms and met up with everyone and kabitzed for a bit. A little while later, I went into the huge Arizona-like living room and met up with Keith. He introduced me to his dad and said that he was throwing the party for me. He said he wanted to make me happy. I laughed and thought about how sweet he was to go out of his way to throw a party for me. We walked down that hallway at school together and just kept walking and walking. The hallway seemed to never end.
By the way, did I mention this was a dream? It was one of those that is so clear and vivid, and makes so much sense that you think it actually happened. I woke up in love with a boy and with a new friend. I rubbed my eyes and realized that nothing had changed.
